Google’s Pixel Fold is getting more and more talked about. It draws attention to itself, for example, through entries in the Android program code before the release. Data miners have now found an entry for muting the folding cell phone in the code of the Digital Wellbeing settings.

As reported by Phonearena, the program line “pref_auto_dnd_enable_foldable_summary” was discovered there, which activates the “Do not disturb” mode when the cell phone is folded and placed with the outer display facing down. This function appears mainly on Pixel smartphones.

Other foldables, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, do not have the same setting options at this point. The suspicion is therefore obvious that this is a function for the first pixel folding phone. It is not yet known when Google will present its first foldable.
