At the end of the summer of 2020, a game stood out and became a real phenomenon, Among Us. This one, in particular, allowed many people to keep in touch with their friends, despite the health context of the time, thanks to a simplistic gameplay accessible to all. While popularity waned in the months that followed, mostly in 2022, another title has managed to bring players together: Goose Goose Duck.
In fact, for several weeks, Goose Goose Duck (GGD) seems to be on the same trajectory as Among Us. It, too, has been available for a few months, and did not immediately experience success either. But, in the space of a month, it has gone from 15,000 concurrent users on Steam to more than 260,000, and these numbers continue to grow as the end of the year approaches, which may bode well a positive future for the game and its developers.
Besides, Goose Goose Duck is much more complete than Among Us at the time, given that it now has several game modes and several roles, in order to diversify the parties. You can, for example, embody a pelican, which eats the other players, or even a ninja, to kill several geese at the same time. The difference being that it’s not crewmates versus imposters, but geese versus ducks.
