Gregory Itzin (24 hours flat, NCIS) died at the age of 74

Friday July 8, the media TMZ relayed the death of American actor Gregory Itzin, 74 years old. A graduate of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, he had mainly interpreted small roles in many successful series as Hanna Montana, FriendsDesperate Housewives, Newport Beach, Mentalist or Covert Business.

Gregory Itzin was best known for his role as Charles Logan in the mythical series 24 hour clock. He had lent his features to the ignoble vice-president, president then ex-president of the United States, for 6 years, between season 4 and season 8 of the series. Finally, he also stood out in NCIS: Special Investigations inasmuch as director of the FBI in season 1. His last role was in 2015, in the series Hawaii 5-0where he played Alex Mackey.

Jon Cassar paid tribute to his friend Gregory Itzin

Jon Cassar, the producer and director of seasons 1 to 7 of the soap opera 24 hour clock has announced the news of the death by Gregory Itzin on Twitter. “My friend Greg Itzin passed away today. He was one of the most talented actors I’ve had the honor to work with, but more than that, he was a great guy. He will be missed by his 24 hour family, who had nothing but love and respect for him. You left your mark, now rest in peace my friend“he wrote in a long message accompanied by a photo alongside the actor.

If the circumstances of death by Gregory Itzin have not yet been revealed, TMZ disclosed that he left behind his wife Judy whom he had been married to since 1979. The American actor was also the father of Julia, born in 1983, and Wilke, born in 1986. The date and place of his funeral have not been communicated.
