Formalized last summer during BitSummit X-Roads, an event dedicated to independent games, Grim Guardians: Demon Purge resurfaced yesterday with some good news. Indeed, the 2D action platformer in pixel art developed and published by Inti Creates (Gal Gun, Azure Striker Gunvolt…) will be released on February 23, 2023 on PC and consoles. Available only in dematerialized format here, in the West, its launch price should be around 25€.
The Kamizono sisters storming a demonic castle
Taking place in a universe that is both gothic and horrifying, the game will invite us to follow the story of Shinobu and Maya Kamizono, two sisters and demon hunters who must set off to conquer a dangerous demonic castle in order to unravel the mysteries surrounding their school. Playable solo or in cooperation with two players, the title promises to integrate many difficulty options as well as the level of quality and challenge that the public expects from the productions of the Japanese studio.
