(CercleFinance.com) – GTT announces that it has received, in early 2024, an order from its Korean partner, the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard, for the design of tanks for 15 new LNG carriers on behalf of a leading LNG player .
GTT will design the tanks for these 15 LNG carriers, which will each offer a total capacity of 174,000 m3, and will integrate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.
Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the fourth quarter of 2028, GTT says.
