Guadeloupe advances the time for the start of the curfew


PARIS (Reuters) – The prefecture of Guadeloupe announced on Saturday that it had decided to advance the time for the start of the curfew by two hours from Monday due to the health situation on the island.

As of Jan. 10, the curfew will begin at 8 p.m. and end at 5 a.m., the prefecture said in a statement.

Currently, the curfew starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 5 hours.

“The Omicron variant is now present in 100% of samples”, informed the prefecture.
