GZSZ: New "Kolle-Kiez" for the successful series

Sometimes you just need to change your familiar surroundings. "Good times, bad times" gets a new "Kolle-Kiez".

The "Kolle-Kiez", the outdoor set of "Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten", is given a new address and is being refreshed, as RTL announced. The outside scenery in Potsdam-Babelsberg will move several hundred meters further, will be completely rebuilt and will get "new sets and surprises".

That is known so far

The broadcaster does not want to reveal many details yet. At least it is already certain that filming will take place there for the first time in January 2021. The new exterior backdrop of "GZSZ" (also on "TV Now") will celebrate its TV premiere in March 2021. The "Kolle neighborhood", consisting of several streets, 15 houses and real trees, was originally inaugurated of 2006. The work on it took only a few weeks back then, but now "everything is supposed to be much more complex".

The "Kolle-Kiez" includes the fans only too well-known "Mauerwerk", a Späti, the Kolleplatz, an underground station and Jo Gerner's (Wolfgang Bahro, 60) place of work. Real stars such as Nena (60, "Nur Traum"), Ed Sheeran (29) and the Backstreet Boys have appeared in "Mauerwerk".
