The new outdoor set of "Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten" celebrates its TV premiere. It also comes out: Jo Gerner lives right next to the S-Bahn.

The outdoor set of the RTL series "Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten" (here at TVNow) has been renewed and expanded, as the broadcaster RTL announced. The neighborhood has therefore left its previous place in Potsdam-Babelsberg and moved a few hundred meters further. The new set will celebrate its TV premiere on March 10, 2021.

The Kolle-Kiez includes several streets with Jo Gerner's place of work, the Kolleplatz, the underground station, the "Masonry" and a Späti. The tried and tested basic structure will also be retained in the new set, according to RTL. Many elements have remained, but it has also been extensively supplemented. Now there is also an important architectural detail from the capital in "GZSZ": S-Bahn arches. These are now visible in the series. It is also revealed: "The Gerner clan lives on the S-Bahn!"

"Soundproof Windows"

The fact that Gerner lives right next to the S-Bahn is by no means one of the last secrets of "GZSZ", says Wolfgang Bahro (60) alias Jo Gerner: "There are many other secrets about 'GZSZ'. And that makes the series so exciting . And you haven't heard a S-Bahn in all these years, because Gerner naturally has soundproof windows. " When asked whether Gerner would also use the S-Bahn one day, he replied: "His wife Yvonne has already got him to use the U-Bahn. So she will certainly make it with the S-Bahn."
