August 31, the anniversary of Lady Diana's death, was certainly not an easy one for Prince Harry. With Meghan, he honored his mother in a special way.
Prince Harry (35) and Duchess Meghan (39) celebrated the 23rd anniversary of the death of Princess Diana (1961-1997) on August 31 in a particularly touching way. They surprised children at a preschool learning center in Los Angeles with a visit. As the charity organization Assistance League of Los Angeles writes on Instagram, the couple not only talked about the necessary appreciation of nature and recommended the importance of a healthy diet to the children, but also took action themselves.
In eternal remembrance
Pictures show how the two – wearing masks of course – try their hand at gardening. Together with the children, they water plants and plant flowers, including forget-me-nots – Princess Diana's favorite flowers.
It's not the first time that Harry and Meghan have paid tribute to the late Lady Di with the purple-bluish flowers. In 2019, on Mother's Day, they published a picture that showed the feet of their then six-day-old son Archie (1), in the background a sea of blurry forget-me-nots.
