In California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found a haven of their own. The Duke of Sussex, who suffers from homesickness, has his entries at the San Vicente Bungalows, a social club reserved for handpicked members such as Elon Musk, Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio, Miley Cyrus or even Justin and Hailey Bieber. In all, only 750 people would have the privilege of being part of this select club. Founded in 2018 by hotelier Jeffrey Klein, this secret spot is an oasis nestled behind a grove of lush greenery just below the lights of West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. To be able to be part of it, you have to be recommended by a member already in place but also to break the bank according to the New York Post: it is indeed necessary to count 1,800 dollars of contribution and 4,200 dollars per year.

For those crazy sums, members get access to a restaurant, pool, bar, grounds, event spaces, and nine guest rooms on the property. According to persistent rumours, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be members of this very select club. Archie and Lilibet’s parents reportedly enjoyed a romantic evening there in early March for their first public outing since the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir. “It’s a very non-LA place. People are dressed like they’re cool New Yorkers, a member who has been with the club since 2019 told the Post. It’s not too over the top, not too extravagant. You don’t see the bling-bling dresses like at other parties in LA.”

Meghan and Harry: forced to confidentiality

But difficult to know more about this club where confidentiality is pushed to its climax. Customers are indeed required to place a sticker on the front and rear cameras of their phone each time they come. “They went the extra mile for privacy, but people keep the stickers even after they leave for a status symbol”, explained this anonymous member. In the many rules issued, members are completely prohibited from discussing what they have seen or heard at the social club outside. And even on the spot, the discussions are framed. “We ask that no one be approached or interrupted unless the interaction is clearly welcome by all parties”explains this club where the Sussexes would have found their happiness.
