In their Netflix documentation, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan not only show themselves privately as never before, there are also photos that had never been made public before. For example, an engagement picture of the Sussexes that was on Queen Elizabeth’s table.

It was May 2018 when Queen Elizabeth, † 96, received George Brandis, then Australia’s High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, at Buckingham Palace. In photos of the meeting, Royal fans could see a picture on one of the tables showing Queen’s grandson Prince Harry, 38, and his current wife, Duchess Meghan, 41. The photo was never published. This picture can now officially be seen for the first time in the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan”.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: Unofficial engagement photo?

The Sussexes’ official engagement photos went viral, but is the photo on the table at Buckingham Palace an unofficial picture of Harry and Meghan’s engagement that was only given away to family and friends? It is possible. Because the picture was obviously created by a photographer, Meghan clearly shows her engagement ring on her left ring finger in the camera, both smile happily and are smartly dressed. Harry wears a medium blue suit, white shirt and matching blue tie, Meghan wears a light blue fitted dress with a Carmen neckline, her long brown hair falls in gentle waves to her shoulders. She is quite heavily made up, her eyes have dark rims and her cheeks are accentuated with rouge.

Where was the photo taken? Possibly in Buckingham Palace, the setting looks magnificent. But that’s not entirely clear, nor is it known when the photo was taken.

Naturalness has fallen victim to post-processing

What is also noticeable in the photo: it was obviously intensively reworked. Meghan in particular hardly looks natural anymore, her face looks like a mask and her hair should also have been technically perfected. Harry, on the other hand, appears to have been less Photoshopped. His smile is rascally, his hair is tousled, his face is slightly red in some places.
