Marine was violently assaulted on the night of October 31, 2021, in the streets of Nanterre. Following this, she posted a selfie and a video of herself to bear witness to what had just happened to her. The images, which quickly went viral, are shocking: the young woman has a swollen face and is stunned. Invited on the set of Touche Pas à Mon Poste, Marine detailed what happened to her that night, when she came back from a nightclub with a friend. The young girls see two men. “I told my girlfriend, we’re going to have to run. Unfortunately, I tripped. The two got on top of me. One wanted my purse, the other started kicking me. He laughed, he took pleasure in hitting me“, says Marine.
Her friend manages to escape and hides, paralyzed by fear. But the horror doesn’t stop there: “The man in gray pulled out a hammer, he looked at me and said, ‘I’m going to finish you’. My eyes were filled with blood, I felt like I was dying. Then I cut my breath, I acted as if I was dead “. The attackers finally leave, when Marine sees a car passing by and calls out to the driver: “‘Please sir help me I’m dying’, and the gentleman rolled down the window saying ‘it’s not my concern’ and he drove off.”, says Marine.
A miracle to be alive
The two young women are finally taken in by two residents who allow them to take refuge in their homes. When help arrives, they confide in Marine that she was lucky to get by. “They killed me mentally, I am just a bodily envelope” explains the young woman. However, it delivers
not wanting to stop living: “that’s not why you shouldn’t go out!” Marine especially wants her testimony to help find the attackers.
