In the 1980s he played the role of Dr. Laudann in the cult series “The Black Forest Clinic”, now actor and voice actor Herbert Tennigkeit has “fallen asleep peacefully” at the age of 85.
Mourning for Herbert Tennigkeit: the actor, best known as the doctor Dr. Laudann was known in the cult series “The Black Forest Clinic” died on October 10, 2022 at the age of 85. His longtime friend Thomas Speyerer announced this to the German Press Agency on Wednesday. He “fell asleep peacefully” in a clinic in his hometown of Hamburg.
The career of Herbert Tennigkeit
Herbert Tennigkeit began his career in the theater after studying acting in Düsseldorf in the 1960s. He was also a speaker for radio plays such as “The three ???” employed. At the end of the 1970s, Tennigkeit also took off on television. He played in well-known television series such as “Tatort”, “Das Traumschiff” and “Kreuzfahrt ins Glück”. However, he achieved greatest fame as anesthetist Dr. Laudann in the popular TV series “Die Schwarzwaldklinik”, which he embodied from 1987 to 1989.
He also had great success as a voice actor. His voice has been heard in the roles of Handlebar and Deputy Fuzz in the American animated series “Bravestarr” and Skeletor in the animated series “He-Man”.
