In the episode ofHere it all begins from Friday 31 December 2021, Laëtitia (Florence Coste) asked Kelly (Axelle Dodier) to plead her case with Chef Armand, but the young girl can no longer bear to be involved in her mother’s stories. Lionel (Lucien Belvès) points out to her that by doing nothing, she risks having to leave the Institute. During Chef Armand’s class, he forces her hand and Kelly ends up telling Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) the truth. She explains to him that Laëtitia has money problems. The only solution would be for her to find a new job, but Myriel refuses to hire her as an assistant without Clotilde’s agreement. Touched by Kelly’s approach, the chef Armand promises to think about it. On returning home, Clotilde confronts Guillaume (Bruno Putzulu). The latter seeks to plead the cause of Laëtitia, but Clotilde does not want to hear anything. According to her, the babysitter is using Guillaume to get a job and has no feelings for him. She categorically refuses to let Myriel hire her.
The students of the Institute want to celebrate the New Year together. Eliott (Nicolas Anselmo) proposes to organize the evening at the roommate, but Teyssier points out to them that no party can take place at the Institute since the Double A remains open. As a last resort, Anaïs (Julie Sassoust), who has just moved in with Lisandro (Agustin Galiana), suggests having the party at her place. Although reluctant to spend the New Year with his students, Lisandro accepts. Later, however, he confides his doubts to Myriel. The principal advises him to talk about it with Anaïs. In the evening, Lisandro confesses to Anaïs that he is uncomfortable at the idea of receiving his friends at his home. He is afraid that partying with them will impact his authority at the Institute. Wounded, Anaïs gets angry. She has the feeling that she is not at home …
Under pressure, Louis tells Charlene the truth
Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) brings Louis (Fabian Wolfrom), Maxime (Clément Rémiens) and Clotilde to his office. Since Maxime refuses to take the competition for the best gastronomy schools with Louis, Teyssier announces that he will not go back on his decision. Louis tries to argue his case, but the director doesn’t want to hear anything. In the kitchen, Théo (Khaled Alouach) announces to Enzo (Aziz Diabaté) that Louis’ dish will be added to the Double A menu. Intrigued, Enzo asks questions about the dish and understands that Louis found the recipe in the notebook by Auguste Armand.
By reading the competition rules, Charlene (Pola Petrenko) discovers that the Institute can present two pairs. She informs Teyssier, who has no choice but to let Louis compete. The news is reaching the ears of the students. Upon learning that Louis must choose a student to participate in the contest with him, Enzo goes to see Louis. He makes her understand that he has discovered his secret and blackmails him: if he does not choose him as a partner, he will tell the whole Institute that he stole his father’s recipes.
Arriving in the common room to speak to Charlene, Louis is approached by Tom (Tom Darmon). The young man would like to know how to apply to be his buddy. Charlene intervenes and announces that she will compete with Louis, but the latter contradicts her: he finally chose Enzo. Feeling betrayed, Charlene gets angry and leaves the place. Later, Louis confesses the whole truth to him: he stole his father’s recipes and Enzo blackmailed him …
