Elon Musk’s Twitter 2.0 is on the way
It’s been a month now since Elon Musk took control of the Twitter vessel. The CEO of Tesla quickly decided to part with a very large part of the company’s workforce, using controversial tactics to say the least. Very recently, it was the boss of Twitter France, Damien Viel, who in turn announced that he had thrown in the towel.
But today, Elon Musk would be in a position to launch Twitter’s big reboot, with a workforce ready to work in a “hardcore” way and new recruits.
In its ranks, Twitter can also count on the presence of a new intern for the less emblematic, namely George Hotz. Indeed, the one who had hacked the iPhone and the PS3 a few years ago recently accepted a three-month internship at Twitter, with the firm desire to “fix” the social network.
Twitter Blue suspended until further notice
Another fundamental aspect of Twitter 2.0 is the certification system. Elon Musk wants to give this privilege to as many people as possible, via the paid Twitter Blue subscription, while striving to fight as much as possible against fake accounts… which is paradoxical to say the least.
Also, after a chaotic launch and numerous abuses, the new Twitter Blue subscription was stopped at the beginning of the month, with a view to relaunching this November 29, with new rules, including the fact of having to have an account. at least 90 days.
However, Elon Musk recently decided to suspend the new version of Twitter Blue until further notice. The CEO of the group wishes indeed to benefit from guarantees to avoid as much as possible false certified accounts. This indicates in particular the possibility of using different colors for the certification badges.
