A new brand will storm the market for smartphones
folding. After Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi and OPPO, it’s Honor’s turn to join in the dance.
The Chinese brand has never hidden its desire to make its own folding phone. Last June, a report already mentioned the existence of such a model, indicating that development had just started. Today, Honor is offering us a formal announcement.
A simple teasing
The Shenzhen firm confirmed the news on social media. We thus learn that the first folding smartphone of the company is called Honor Magic V. Unfortunately, this flagship remains very mysterious, since nothing else has been communicated for the moment. We can just glimpse the shape of the mobile which is expected to come out in the near future.
According to rumors relayed by The Elec, this Honor Magic V could be equipped with an 8.03-inch folding screen accompanied by a second 6.45-inch panel on the outside. Its design would therefore be similar to that of the Samsung Z Fold. It only remains for us to wait until the announcement of the characteristics, and especially the price which could be relatively high.
