One of the first behemoths of 2022 will normally be Horizon Forbidden West, if, we hope, no delay is on the horizon (yes, we love humor). The title has shown itself often in recent days with a new trailer highlighting its monsters, while presenting some images of its PS4 version, and recently, we learned that it would be on the cover of the next issue of Game Informer, with the promise of exclusive information to come. The site will diffuse everything in droplets, but we are already entitled to a new batch of images.
A new region and an unprecedented species
So these are five news that Game Informer unveils, where we can see Aloy crossing the region called “The Daunt”, which is represented by a very large canyon in the Carja territory.
This is the last place Aloy will pass through before venturing into the Forbidden West, and will serve as a large area for players to familiarize with the new mechanics of this episode.
We also discover a new kind of machines, with the “Burrower” which is a kind of evolution of the Watchman of Horizon zero dawn, in other words rather weak enemies. These machines can call for reinforcements by sending a sound into the ground, which will also aim to knock out enemies.
Horizon Forbidden West will be available from February 18, 2022. Pre-orders for the different editions of the game are already available.
