The Breath of the Wild spin-off is doing well, thank you for it. A little over a year after its release, Hyrule Warriors Age of Scourge is quietly continuing its journey. The fruit of the second partnership between Nintendo and Koei Tecmo has indeed taken a new step, just to start the year well:

With four million physical and dematerialized copies, The Era of the Scourge retains its status as the best-selling Musō of the entire series, which nevertheless has a few dozen opuses. This new course thus makes it possible to validate several axes of Nintendo’s strategy, now less reluctant to entrust even its most prestigious licenses to third-party studios.
All things considered, this second Hyrule Warriors also succeeds in selling over time, since Nintendo distributed 500,000 additional copies in 2021, taking advantage of the arrival of the two DLCs released in June and last November.
