“Iran has decided to provoke Israel in such a way that the latter will respond with similar, if not worse, violence”

Lhe doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran is “to win without firing a single cartridge”. With the relays at her disposal, she manages to avoid wars by charging her minions with them. This is what it did with Hamas. For years, the Palestinian question had disappeared from the chancellery radars. Having considered this issue removed from the diplomatic agendas, Israel was convinced that this erasure disintegrated the Palestinian question in the occupied territories.

This was to forget the determination of Hamas, one of the richest terrorist movements in the world, to destroy the Jewish state. This emanation of the Muslim Brotherhood fights much less for the liberation of the occupied territories of the West Bank than for the total and definitive eradication of any Jewish presence in Islamic lands. It is so true that after Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005, the ruling Hamas used hundreds of millions of dollars, sent by several states, to over-arm the enclave and bunker it. Instead of improving, the already difficult living conditions of the Palestinians have therefore been dramatically eroded. Since Hamas took power, authoritarianism and extremism have always prevailed over concerns for the well-being and improvement of the daily life of the Gazan population.

Hamas has the same objectives as Daesh. Far from being nationalist like Fatah, these two movements aim to exclude the umma from any Jewish presence, whatever the means to be implemented and the human cost (including on the Palestinian side), to achieve. The pogrom of October 7 was intended to show that the secret services of“Zionist entity” were no longer very efficient. And, in order to strike people’s minds, the attack had to take place fifty years after the Egyptian offensive of 1973, which had plunged the Israelis into the Yom Kippur War.

Crushing responsibility of Netanyahu

How can we understand the blindness of the Israeli authorities to the preparation of the invasion, the training of which they had seen for some two years? Because these maneuvers were carried out in Gaza without concealment (they were even filmed and broadcast), in settings copied from Israeli villages. For Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, these were just posturing. He took as proof the fact that, for four or five years, its members had made the effort to reduce their anti-Semitic diatribes.
