Israeli Prime Minister Bennett warns against investing in Iran

“You are the source of terror in the Middle East,” said Bennett on Tuesday at a virtual panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He warned against investing in the country. Only an agreement with which Iran gives up its nuclear weapons program is acceptable. To this day, Tehran denies striving to build nuclear weapons and emphasizes that nuclear energy is only used for civilian purposes.

Israel sees its very existence threatened by Iranian foreign policy. Since the Islamic revolution in 1979, Iran has repeatedly threatened the Jewish state. In Vienna, the international community is trying to save the 2015 nuclear deal. The US dropped out in 2018.
