Jamie Lee Curtis was able to convince with her shiny yellow look at the Golden Globes. But the styling was not easy.

Jamie Lee Curtis (62, "Halloween") made a brilliant appearance at the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday evening. As one of the few stars who had the honor of being there live in Beverly Hills, the actress chose an exciting, shiny yellow evening dress by Australian fashion designer Alex Perry (58). Not only did the design emphasize the slim silhouette of the 62-year-old with a sophisticated drapery. A deep V-neckline also looked surprisingly deep.

Shoulder pads, balloon sleeves and a bow on the back provided further eye-catchers. The styling for the evening was not a quick number, Curtis revealed afterwards on Instagram. There she published a snapshot of her appearance on the red carpet and declared: "It takes a village to make me presentable to the public." Nevertheless, she enjoyed the evening in the spotlight. Above all, because she was able to present her "good friend" Jodie Foster (58, "The Mauritanian") with the award for best supporting actress in a movie.
