In the columns of ParisianDominique Grimaud, then a novice reporter for the newspaper The Team remembered that with two of his colleagues, Jean-Jacques Bourdin had embarked on a seduction contest on the roads of the Tour de France, called the Yellow Slipin reference to the yellow jersey of the event, at the end of the 1970s.Between them, it was up to whoever would nab as many girls as possible on the tour. There was also a green slip for the fastest. They were very handsome guys. We were long before #MeToo. It was more laid back. And above all, the girls were consenting. No one has been raped, ever“, he said. One of his comrades in the evening indicated as for him: “He was one hell of a party animal, Jean-Jacques. And he was always well surrounded. The women were swooning.“
In the late 1980s, when he was giving radio lessons at the Practical Institute of Journalism, Jean Jacques Bourdin allegedly behaved inappropriately with some of his students. “He played the playboy, the shirt wide open with the hair sticking out, the gold chain and the cowboy boots“, confided a student. A journalist he trained assured his side: “Me, he really got on my nerves. Finally, no more than another. He did it very well. For him, it was so much the better if it bites. Otherwise, he moved on to another. But we were twenty years apart anyway.“

At the beginning of January, a 33-year-old journalist said the TV star tried to kiss her during a press trip to Calvi, Corsica. While the young woman sent investigators an insistent text message received from Jean-Jacques Bourdin, the latter denies the charges against him. He indeed said:I know this person, and I worked with her. I admit having bathed with her in the swimming pool of this hotel. But I never tried to forcibly kiss her, nor her, nor anyone else.“
