The fall was very trying for Jean-Pierre Pernaut and his family. In remission from prostate cancer, the former star of the 13 hours of TF1 learned that he was affected by a new cancer, this time in the lungs. A new one which hit hard the morale of the troops as revealed last December 2 by his wife Nathalie Marquay in Gala: “Lung cancer it’s something other than his prostate cancer. We can’t hide it. We are fighting the biggest fight of our life even if we have already faced serious health problems “. Already operated once, the journalist knows that the fight he is about to wage will be tough. So he was keen to have a good time and strength with his family. “I absolutely do not want to do a check in December“, he had thus declared before specifying:”I want to go on vacation first. I don’t want my vacation to be ruined again, like this summer. So winter holidays, we go to the sun and then in January, we will do a check.“

Wish granted therefore. The Pernaut family flew to the sun of the Maldives, where with children and friends they regain their strength. Already on December 22 Lou, who recently celebrated his 19th birthday, unveiled some pictures of her dad, who seemed to be enjoying his idyllic stay. On this December 26, the young woman posted some pictures of her and of the stay which seems to be going well. In the program : idleness, fireworks, walks and family meals. We even discover the very serious journalist all smiles making the V for victory with both hands, his napkin over his head during a dinner … Images of happiness that can only fill the admirers of the latter. Holidays and memories that will allow the journalist to take back the reins of his show on LCI and his fight, with high morale!
