Jesse Tyler Ferguson has had a small piece of skin cancer removed. Thanks to preventive measures, the cancer was discovered at an early stage.
“Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson has had a “bit of skin cancer” removed from her neck. The 45-year-old posted a picture on Monday on Instagram, on which he is apparently sitting after the procedure with a bandage on the affected area in the doctor’s office.
He uses the experience to call on his followers to go to cancer screening: “Reminder to go to your dermatological examinations regularly – especially if you are as bright as I am,” he writes. “Something is stolen from me every time I’m here …” said Ferguson with a sobbing smiley face. This time you would have found “a bit of skin cancer,” he continues. Fans shouldn’t worry though, as it was recognized early on. “I’ll be fine.” But Ferguson wants to give them one thing on their way: “Wear sunscreen! For me SPF 1000!”
