Johnny Knoxville broke a wrist and broken rib while filming Jackass Forever. He also suffered a concussion.
Fans of the “Jackass” series can look forward to: On October 28th, the new fourth part “Jackass Forever” will be in German cinemas. Then there are crazy stunts and rough humor again. And as with every part, everyone involved is pushing their limits once more. For Johnny Knoxville (50) a stunt ended in the hospital. The 50-year-old broke his wrist and a rib while shooting a bull riding a bull. He also suffered a concussion.
“Knoxville is a magician”
The production studio “Paramount Pictures” published a picture on his Instagram account the dangerous action. You can see Knoxville being thrown from the bull and flying head first towards the ground. In a story about it, Paramount writes: “If you mess with the bull, you get not only the feel of his horns, but also a concussion, a broken wrist and a broken rib. Johnny Knoxville is indeed a magician.”
“Jackass” was produced for the music broadcaster MTV in the early 00s. Due to its great success, the movie “Jackass: The Movie” was developed from it in 2002. The second part followed in 2006. The last time Johnny Knoxville was seen in 2013 was the third film in the series “Bad Grandpa”.
