The celebrities who want to take part in the upcoming jungle camp may have to get vaccinated first.

What has RTL planned for the next season of the jungle camp? The broadcaster allegedly wants “I’m a celebrity – get me out of here!” can be shot again in Australia in the coming year, reports the “Bild” newspaper. If this is actually possible, quarantine before filming may not be enough. All celebrities are supposed to be vaccinated before they are allowed to participate.

In addition, the potential candidates would apparently have to arrive earlier than usual. According to the report, the stars would have to set off around Christmas time so that possible quarantine times could be adhered to. In addition, the celebrities are said to be accommodated in a different hotel, as this and the location are in different states. However, RTL has not yet commented on this.

How are the chances?

At the end of May it was announced that the British jungle camp could return to Australia. The “The Sun” reported that the Australian government had given the go-ahead for production. At the time, it had not yet been firmly decided that the British camp would actually take place again in Australia at the end of the year. The two shows shared the camp in the past. If the British are able to film there, theoretically nothing should stand in the way of the German jungle.

At the beginning of 2021, RTL was unable to broadcast the jungle camp in the usual way due to the corona pandemic. Instead, there was the replacement program “I am a star – The great jungle show” to see, in which a permanent participant for the upcoming season was sought. In the end, ex- “Bachelorette” candidate Filip Pavlovic (27) won the ticket for 2022. Singer Lucas Cordalis (53) and designer Harald Glööckler (56) are also candidates for the next jungle camp.
