The “Bottoms” stars have a shared tattoo

Kaia Gerber and her friend Ayo Edebiri are no longer only connected by their film “Bottoms” but also by a tattoo.
A sweet but somewhat painful proof of friendship: Model Kaia Gerber (22) and actress Ayo Edebiri (28) recently got the same tattoo. Gerber revealed this to an “E! News” reporter on the red carpet of the premiere of the new series “Palm Royale.” While she remained tight-lipped about what the tattoo looked like, she explained that it was Edebiri’s idea after her first appearance on the famous comedy late-night show “Saturday Night Live” in February.
“It’s pretty fresh,” said the 22-year-old. “I saw Ayo on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ She did a great job. The next day I thought she was just going to stay in bed and kind of relax after what I know was a very intense week, but she said: ‘We’re getting tattoos.’ And whatever she says, I’ll do it too.” However, at the premiere of “Palm Royale,” she kept the tattoo on her arm hidden under her blue dress.
Kaia Gerber: From model to actress
Kaia Gerber is following in the footsteps of her famous mother Cindy Crawford as a model, but she is also currently making a name for herself as an actress: together with her friend Ayo Edebiri, she was last seen in the high school comedy “Bottoms” in 2023. In the new Apple TV+ series “Palm Royale” she plays alongside “Saturday Night Live” veteran Kristen Wiig (50).
She also got a lot of tips from her for her new role in the film “SNL 1975,” which is about the beginnings of the late-night show. During filming she will meet another co-star from “Bottoms”, namely Rachel Sennott (28).
In the planned film by Jason Reitman, Gerber will play the role of Jacqueline Carlin (1942-2021), the ex-wife of “Saturday Nigh Live” original member Chevy Chase (80). Other young up-and-coming actors who have been confirmed for the filminclude “Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard (21) and “No Hard Feelings” actor Andrew Barth Feldman (21).
