Former "Bachelor" candidate is getting married this summer

In the jungle camp 2018, the love between Kattia Vides and Patrick Weilbach made headlines for the first time. Now the wedding follows.
The former "Bachelor" and jungle camp candidate Kattia Vides (32) marries the CDU politician Patrick Weilbach (33) in the summer. "Patrick and I will say yes to each other at the registry office in Kassel on July 31," she told RTL. "But at first we will only get married in the smallest of families." Weilbach adds: "We don't know how the situation with all the corona mutations will develop. That's why we're playing it safe first."
According to Weilbach, the original plan was to get married at Berlepsch Castle near Kassel – with celebrities like Daniela Büchner, Johannes Haller and David Friedrich. The big wedding will probably only take place next year.
Relationship status fuss
The "Bachelor" candidate from 2017 caused confusion in 2018 with her statement in the jungle camp that she was single. Because even then there were reports that she was with Weilbach. At that time they were not ready to appear as a couple in public, explains Vides. "Who knows how our story would have gone if our love through RTL and the jungle camp hadn't become public." Since then, their common path has been "freed from many worries that we had previously made together. After that nothing stood in the way of our love and we have overcome all hurdles together". And she adds: "It feels right that this is the way to say yes and we will get married."
