The sequel to the space simulation game is finally coming. Announced in 2019, Kerbal Space Program 2 was originally due to see the light of day in 2020, before seeing its release window being pushed back several times, to 2021, 2022, then 2023 recently. But in the end, the developers managed to transcribe what they wanted to offer in this new experience, more advanced than the first episode, revealing the release date of Kerbal Space Program 2.
Kerbal Space Program 2 release date
Unless there is a turnaround and a new postponement, Kerbal Space Program 2 will be released on February 24, 2023, in early access, on Steam. On this date, the title will be available on this platform (but also the Epic Games Store) and will then begin a long phase, during which the developers, the Intercept Games studio, will rely on player feedback to see what the axes of improvement points that can be reviewed before the final launch of the title.
However, when it is released, the content will already be quite substantial, with, among other things, a large number of environments to explore, as rich as they are varied, but also new objects to optimize the exploration of the universe and make the all more immersive. The general interface has also been redesigned to be more intuitive.
Besides, Kerbal Space Program 2 is as much for lovers of the franchise as it is for beginners. A multitude of tutorials, some of which in cartoon version, as we saw a few months ago, will be offered, so that each person can take full control of the experience.
See you from February 24, 2023, therefore, to discover Kerbal Space Program 2 on PC, in early access, through Steam. The title will be sold for €49.99. A console release is planned, when the final version is released, probably in 2024.
