Une part of the medical profession has recently gone on strike and is asking that the price of the consultation be increased to 50 euros. It is now set at 25 euros by the agreement that binds doctors to health insurance. This request does not seem unreasonable when we know the price of the consultation in the United States (on average 190 euros) as in Australia or Germany (around 70 euros). Remember that 25 euros is the price that a hairdresser in Paris asks for a haircut of barely ten minutes for a particularly balding man. The hairdresser has not studied for ten years…

Of course, from the point of view of those responsible for social accounts, this doubling seems totally unreasonable. But let’s try to go beyond these irreconcilable points of view and penetrate the maquis…
