In 2017, Kevin Spacey retired from the acting business after allegations of sexual assault. Now there should be a new role.

Kevin Spacey (61) largely withdrew from the public in 2017 after allegations of sexual assault. Now the US actor is said to have been offered a new role. As reported by the industry magazine “Variety”, among others, Spacey will make a guest appearance in the Italian film “L’uomo Che Disegnò Dio”. According to producer Louis Nero (44), the former “House of Cards” star will play a police investigator.

Franco Nero (79, “Django Unchained”) takes on the leading role and directs the film, which is to be shot in Italy. His wife Vanessa Redgrave (84) should also get a role. “I am very happy that Kevin has agreed to be part of my film”, said Nero in an interview with “ABC News”. He thinks he is “a great actor and can’t wait to start shooting.” Kevin Spacey has not yet commented on his possible engagement.

As of 2017, in the course of the #MeToo debate, several men accused Spacey of having been sexually molested by him. However, two charges did not result in conviction and were dropped for different reasons. Among other things, Netflix canceled the contract with Spacey, and his role was cut out of the movie “Alles Geld der Welt” (2017).
