Konami, Annapurna Interactive and No Code join forces for Silent Hill: Townfall

If Konami no longer manufactures many games in-house, it has decided to surround itself well to revive the license silent Hill. After the announcement of remake of Silent Hill2 by Polish developer Bloober Team, the Japanese publisher continued its “Silent Hill Transmission” program by unveiling Silent Hill: Townfalla co-production with Annapurna Interactive, produced by the No Code studio.

The Scottish developer showed up with a first teaser very mysterious, revealing absolutely nothing of its title. We guess, however, narrative intentions supported, but impossible to get a clear idea of the genre in which it will fit. Jon McKellan, creative director of the studio, however, clarified that Silent Hill: Townfallwill respect the original material but make it something a little different“. To support his statements and reassure viewers who may not be aware of No Code’s previous productions, McKellan did not fail to recall that the excellent Observation and Stories Untold shared a little something of the DNA of silent Hill since they also play on the register of horror / psychological thriller.

No Code has finally declared that it is working hard on this new representative of the license and gives us an appointment next year to learn more. We don’t even know on which platform the game is expected, which is to say if patience is required.
