(Boursier.com) — Korian the Agricultural credit and the Banque des Territoires have sealed a new partnership to finance the development of a second inclusive housing program involving 330 Ages & Vie colocations to be delivered by 2025. This partnership, concluded for a period of 20 years, makes it possible to finance real estate investment through an SCI Foncière, 30% owned and controlled by Korian, and 70% in equal shares by Crédit Agricole, via a dedicated structure owned by Crédit Agricole Assurances and regional banks of the Crédit group Agricole, and the Banque des Territoires. This agreement follows the first signed in 2019 which has already made it possible to finance the construction of 300 houses in rural areas, the last of which will be delivered in full by 2023.

The Ages & Vie network offers flatshares in rural and peri-urban areas suitable for autonomous elderly people who share the services of carers who accompany them on a daily basis and some of whom live on site. Each residence, on one level, consists of eight studios and a shared living space. These habitats “shared and inclusive on a human scale, anchored in the heart of the territories, meet a need hitherto poorly covered, in terms of local support for autonomous but isolated elderly people”. Created in 2008 in Franche Comté, the Ages & Vie network will have 300 homes located in 150 municipalities in France by 2023. By the end of 2025, and thanks to the new investment agreement, it should have 500 to 600 houses to house nearly 5,000 elderly people and create 1,500 to 1,800 carer jobs. All the Ages & Vie houses in this second tranche will meet the highest environmental standards in the residential sector, such as the HQE (High Environmental Quality) – NF Habitat standard.
