Gaming Campus is the 1st student campus in Europe exclusively dedicated to the video game industry. Its mission is to support market growth by meeting the recruitment needs of tomorrow’s talents.

Supported by more than 200 partner companies, it houses the school of management G. Business, the school ofcomputer science G. Tech and G. Art which forms the digital creatives. Located in Lyon, Paris and Bordeaux on a combined +5000m2, Gaming Campus delivers 16 higher education courses (bachelor, MBA and MSc).

Meet the strong recruitment needs of video game companies

The video game sector has seen significant growth, with global revenue of 170 billion dollars in 2022. In France, the video game industry recorded a new record in 2022, generating a turnover of 5.6 billion euros, up 1.6% compared to the previous year. This expansion is expected to create numerous employment opportunities, with more than 23,000 employees planned over the next eight yearsincluding 16,500 from initial training.

The three Gaming Campus schools (Business, Tech, Art) will offer post-baccalaureate programs with Bac+5 level diplomas recognized by the State at RNCP 7 level. These programs have been developed in collaboration with experts from the education, the video game industry and companies in the sector to maximize the employability of students. Courses will be constantly adjusted according to the needs of the rapidly changing industry.

François Demange, digital project manager at Apperture, highlights the importance of virtual and immersive reality skills, noting that Gaming Campus offers one of the few specialist MScs in this area. Students will also have numerous opportunities to meet professionals and develop their network throughout their training.

Applications open for September 2024 school year

Applications for the September 2024 academic year are already open, with 75 places available. Admission to Gaming Campus is open to post-baccalaureate students, as well as to candidates for parallel admissions after a Bac+1, +2 or +3. The application process emphasizes exchange and promotes both the students’ professional project and their academic career.
