Leroy Merlin presents its connected radiator
It’s a fact, the price of energy will rise in the coming months, and many are looking for solutions that will allow them to save electricity, gas… and thus reduce their bills.
On the side of Leroy Merlin, we have developed a connected radiator, called “Equation Enora”. The latter is available in three versions, namely 1000 W, 1500 W and 2000 W.
A connected radiator that syncs directly to the brand’s Enki box, on which you can already pair various objects such as shutters or lighting.
Everything is controlled directly from a single mobile application, which will therefore allow the user to better manage his energy consumption. According to the brand, depending on the uses, such a device would allow users to reduce their bill by 20 or 30%, by lowering the temperature of the fireplace, but also by refining the heating periods.
Keeping control over your consumption… is far from affordable
Of course, the system makes it possible to regulate its heating room by room, and to display on the screen the consumption ” to the nearest euro to help the user find the most appropriate setting. According to the Ecological Transition Agency, lowering the temperature of your home by one degree would reduce your electricity bill by around 7%.
However, as pointed out 20 minutes, before saving, it will be necessary to agree to invest. Indeed, each Equation Enora radiator will be displayed at the price of 525 euros, without forgetting an Enki box offered at 119 euros. Suffice to say that interested parties will have to agree to see the adoption of Equation Nora radiators as a long-term investment.
