The sovereign also wished to recall the central place of the military in the hearts of the Spaniards. “I want to honor with great emotion the memory and dignity of the victims of terrorism“, he said. “I know you are moved by the honor of serving Spain and our citizens, and that by fulfilling your responsibility you do not skimp on the efforts or the sacrifices“, he continued.
