LFI wants to repeal the reform in the Assembly

France insubordinate will try to repeal the pension reform in the National Assembly at the end of November, announced Friday, the day of entry into force of the retirement at 64, Mathilde Panot, the head of the LFI deputies.

Today enters into force the retirement age 64, passed in force by 49.3 and against the immense majority of the people. On November 30, the parliamentary group La France insoumise will put the repeal of these 2 years of life theft on the agenda of its parliamentary niche. We will never stop the fight!, wrote on the social network X (ex-Twitter), Mathilde Panot.

Parliamentary niches have existed since 2008: the Constitution reserves one sitting day per month for the texts of opposition groups or minority groups (MoDem and Horizons).

The objective of this parliamentary innovation is to remedy the difficulty for a deputy, especially if he is in the opposition, to include a bill of which he is the author on the menu of the Assembly – where the government dictates the agenda two weeks out of four.

The pension reform came into force on Friday with 83% of the texts implementing the measures published, said the Minister of Labor Olivier Dussopt on France 2.

There are some measures that will come into force only in 2024 or even 2025 and therefore the decrees will be published in the coming weeks, he added.
