The Repression of Fraud alerts on a raw milk goat cheese produced in Vendée and sold in Leclerc, Super U and Hyper U supermarkets.

If you have bought fresh goat cheese made from raw milk recently made in Vendée, beware, beware. The Directorate-General for Competition, Consumption and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) warns against fresh goat’s milk cheese made in Vendée, produced by the Saskia company and sold in the Pays-de-la- Loire via Leclerc, Super U and Hyper U supermarkets.

In fact, traces of listeria have been detected in various cheeses produced by the Saskia company. This concerns different cheeses: the Round with thyme, mustard and semi-ripened black pepper, the Buchette blanche, semi-ripened ash, the semi-ripened ash Pyramid, the semi-ripened Cabrette, the semi-ripened Tomme, the semi-ripened marbled Tomme and the white Chabi semi matured. They were sold between August 16, 2021 and September 13, 2021.
