LoL: Huge inconsistency for the Worlds 2022 merch?

The League of Legends universe is rich, we don’t know if the players are too, but Riot Games offers a lot of derivative products in any case. Between figurines, stuffed animals, clothing and accessories, there is absolutely something for everyone. While there are regular outings, Worlds however offers a particularly fruitful title window, as fans are hyped up for the competition and more likely to release the blue card. A change of cut not yet assumed?

One of the arguments for selling the merch in question, being to have products specially designed to match Worlds 2022. So the situation is a little weird.

A deliberate inconsistency or a logical inconsistency?

Several questions arise when talking about this small inconsistency. For some, Riot Games wanted to have their backs so as not to upset potential buyers. While the feedback on the new cut was generally rather cold, it was perhaps shooting oneself in the foot to tag a new logo on the merch for sale.
