PARIS, July 28 (Reuters) – L’Oréal on Thursday reported a 13.4% like-for-like rise in second-quarter sales, overcoming the downward trend seen in the sector in China due to restrictions sanitary facilities, against the backdrop of a rebound in demand for cosmetics.
In a press release, the group indicated that its overall sales over the April-June period amounted to 9.31 billion euros, beating the consensus which stood at +8.9% according to Visible Alpha data cited by UBS. (Written by Jean Terzian, edited by Jean-Michel Bélot)
