LOUD wins the 2022 VALORANT Champions for its first season

After Europe in 2021 with Acend, it’s the turn of Brazil to rise on top of the world. This weekend, the structure LOUD won the VALORANT Champions 2022 and claim the title of champion for his first season on the VALORANT stage, a feat in just six months. The roster made up of South American talents founded last February surprised everyone at the end of this last tournament of the season.

The only Brazilian team qualified for this final, LOUD had an uneven course in their region, finishing certainly in Masters 1 final in Reykjavik. But eliminated at the start of Masters 2, the team still qualified in the end thanks to season points, finishing far ahead of the Ninjas in Pyjamas. And from the start of the Champions League, she was not the favorite. Second in his group B behind his pet peeve OpTic Gaming (who had won the final at Masters 1), LOUD had to go through a Decider Match to get his place in the quarters.

And LOUD then broke free, chaining performances against Leviatan, DRX and finally… OpTic againbeating Structure 2/0 in the final upper bracket, and finally 3-1 in the grand final still against them. Note that this final beat a new audience record since at its peak, we counted 1.5 million spectatorsnearly 500,000 more than the 2021 final.
