Marbles are not just for children: RTL is betting on a new show entitled “Murmel Mania”, which will be broadcast in prime time.

Marbles are not only used to entertain children, grown-ups will soon have fun with them in a new TV format. RTL has a fresh prime time program called “Murmel Mania” (also at TV Now) announced. The show is scheduled to be broadcast on the broadcaster every Tuesday from May 11th. Initially, four editions are planned. The whole thing will be moderated by comedian Chris Tall (29, “And now it’s dad’s turn!”).

Bowling, racing, mini golf

Three celebrities per episode will face challenges in “Marble Mania”, including games of skill and races. There will also be variants of bowling, mini golf and penalty shoot-outs with marbles. The show seems to be quite elaborately produced. According to the broadcaster, a total of 1,600 working hours were put into the construction of different railways. The longest of these is said to be 41 meters long.

Three show legends will take part in the first episode: Ingolf Lück (62), Harry Wijnvoord (71) and Marijke Amado (67). The episodes were filmed in the Netherlands in February. The different competitions are moderated by Frank Buschmann (56). The celebrities can earn up to 50,000 euros for a good cause.
