The screenwriter and comedian Marc Wilmore died as a result of Covid-19 illness.

Marc Wilmore is dead. The screenwriter and producer died on January 30th after suffering from Covid 19 at the age of 57. The Emmy winner was known for his work on several episodes of the "Simpsons", as a writer for Jay Leno's (70) "Tonight Show", the sketch comedy series "In Living Color" and most recently as a writer and executive producer the series "F is for Family".

Death was his brother, Larry Wilmore (59), known on Twitter. He wrote: "My sweet, sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night after struggling with Covid and other circumstances that had caused him pain for years. My brother was the kindest, gentlest, funniest lion of an angel, I've ever known. I love you little brother. "
