Expressive eye make-up can work wonders, especially in times when a mask is required. If eye shadow and kohl alone are not enough, use colored mascara. It offers the opportunity to get the most out of the styling. Corresponding products are available in green, blue, purple or pink. But which shade is right for your own eye color?
A captivating look guaranteed
To make the eyes shine, it is beneficial to choose a color that flatters. Green mascara goes well with blue and slightly grayish eyes, as they usually contain a few green pigments. Meanwhile, brown eyes can be emphasized with blue mascara, as well as with purple ones. The latter also flatters people with green eyes. If, on the other hand, you want to put your blue eyes in the limelight, you should use a lighter pink.
The maximum radiance of the eyes is tickled out when the color of the iris is contrasted with the color of the mascara. But all-in-one looks can also convince. Here it is important to build a coherent styling around it. Means: The eye shadow should also be chosen in the respective color and be darker than the eye color. If you like it a little more subtle, you can initially only apply color to the tips of the lash line. This also gives the eye a captivating look.
