Behavior Interactive is known for its multiplayer game at gameplay asymmetric Dead by Daylightwhich will welcome a new Chapter with resident Evilbut the studio presented this week a title that has nothing to do with it. Meet Your Maker is a building and looting game where the levels are created by the players.
An intriguing game, with a first-person camera and a gameplay mixing creation and infiltration. It will thus be necessary build trap-laden outposts to defend against and storm other players’ creations. Here is a presentation of Meet Your Maker and its universe:
In this dying world, players embody the Guardian, servant of the Chimera, a living experiment created as a last resort to save life on Earth. They will find themselves in a tactical battle for the most coveted resource on the planet and the key to the evolution of the Chimera: pure Genetic Material. But getting it won’t be easy. Players will need to build and fortify labyrinthine outposts that mine and guard the precious MatGen, or infiltrate and outwit other players’ creations to harvest more. With every in-game outpost built by players, user-generated content is the guiding force of the adventure.
Construction involves creating outposts designed to lure, roll, and kill intrusive players. To do this, players will combine a huge selection of customizable guards, traps and blocks while strategically creating their fatal masterpiece. The innovative AI recording system allows players to pre-record patrol paths for their guards to surprise and storm looters. On the other side, players will also have to raid outposts created by others. Each outpost will test their grit, savvy, and reflexes as they attempt to break in, grab the MatGen, and get away with it in one piece. No two outposts will ever be the same, resulting in an experience with immense replayability.

Behavior Interactive is famous for creating unique moments for gamers and Meet Your Maker clearly lives up to that reputation. The game is built on UGC (User Generated Content) and creates deep social connections whether you play solo or in co-op. As a builder, share your meticulously erected outpost and watch other players battle it out with our replay system. We never get tired of seeing others die. You will reap rewards and learn how to strengthen your creation. As a looter, you will try, you will die, you will start again and eventually you will gain the knowledge to extract this MatGen and leave victoriously. Either way, it’s highly entertaining and always fun to watch. Players can expect to have the game in their hands in 2023, and in the meantime they can register on the Meet Your Maker website to try to participate in the closed playtest which begins on August 23rd.
