Buckingham Palace has been in turmoil for some time as the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir draws closer and next January 10 could mark a new rupture within the royal family. With his book titled Spare, Prince Harry promises to tell his version of the story in all honesty and to reveal ever more behind the scenes of the conflicts that have shaken this institution for several years. His marriage to Meghan Markle and, soon after, the “Megxit” caused a real divide, and after enduring the thousands of hate messages towards his wife, the Duke of Sussex not only decided to move to protect her, but also to tell his version of what really happened between him, his brother William and all the other family members from which he moved away.
As pointed out by DailyMail however, Prince Harry’s memoir will still do the effect of an earthquake in the UK and beyond, but there is one topic in particular that could mark the end of Prince Harry’s relationship with his father, King Charles III. It would indeed seem that the youngest son of the king was warned of one thing: the reputation of Camilla, the queen consort. The one who was known as Camille Parker-Bowles had a complicated history with King Charles III before being able to marry him in 2005, and it seems that the sovereign does not want to see his wife once again criticized. This red line not to be exceeded would therefore have been drawn, indicating that the king could therefore understand his son’s desire to protect his own wife from what may have been said against her in the media…
Harry settles accounts with William
Sources who have already had access to the book revealed that the attacks against King Charles III are however very moderate and that the latter “don’t come out too bad”. It was Prince William in particular who, in Spare, should be portrayed as a less than ideal big brother. The relationship between the two sons of Princess Diana continues to deteriorate over the years, spreading more and more the possibility of real reconciliation. But it will be necessary to wait for January 10 and the publication of Prince Harry’s memoirs, written by JR Moehringer, in order to really know the extent of the damage.
