Metropolis of Lyon A teenager arrested for death threatening graffiti to the mayor of Rillieux-la-Pape

A 15-year-old young man, presented to the prosecutor’s office on Thursday, is suspected of being the author of several tags threatening the mayor of Rillieux, his five-year-old son and national and municipal police officers with death, at the end of September in Rillieux.

Between September 24 and 27, tags were discovered several times on the walls of the Maison pour Tous des Alagniers, and an investigation was opened to identify the perpetrator(s).

Technical and scientific investigations established that fourteen of these inscriptions had been made by the same person and a fingerprint, discovered on a spray paint, made it possible to identify a suspect. It is a 15-year-old teenager, living in Rillieux, whose writing has been compared to that of the tags. The analysis found similarities indicating that the two scripts may match.

He denies the facts

The young suspect was arrested early Tuesday morning at his home and taken into custody. During the search, the investigators found a spray paint similar to that used for the tags. During his hearing, the teenager denied any involvement.
