Michael Wendler and Laura Müller: church wedding postponed to next year

Bad luck for Laura Müller and Michael Wendler: They have to postpone their church wedding again.

The corona pandemic is forcing Michael Wendler (48, "Spectacular") and Laura Müller (20) to postpone their church wedding again. The planned wedding in October, which was to be broadcast live on RTL, has now been postponed to 2021, the broadcaster announced.

Originally, after their civil marriage in Florida in June, the couple wanted to celebrate their church wedding in a grand manner in Las Vegas that same summer. This plan could not be put into practice due to the global corona pandemic. In September, the singer announced on Instagram that the dream wedding should take place in Europe in October instead. But now this date also had to be postponed.

Wendler said to RTL: "We would have loved to have our church wedding this year, but this will be impossible due to the current Corona rules. Laura and I want to celebrate big and carefree with friends and family and not put anyone in danger. That's why we have we agreed with RTL to postpone our dream wedding to the coming year 2021. " It is also planned that the ceremony will then be followed live on television. However, the couple has not yet announced an exact date for the wedding. The documentary "Laura and the Wendler – Now we're getting married!" can be seen on TVNow, VOX will also broadcast three new episodes from October 26th, 2020 (8:15 pm).
