Rumor has it that Microsoft is preparing to offer Bing Chat in competing browsers. Redmond’s ChatGPT-based chatbot is set to become even more popular.
Bing Chat, or Bing AI, is a conversational Artificial Intelligence developed by Microsoft based on OpenAI’s large GPT-4 language model. The Redmond firm first implemented its chatbot in Edge. Rumor has it that Microsoft wants to offer the services of its chatbot in competing browsers, Safari and Chrome, in particular. Windows Central reporters found that Microsoft has tested its conversational AI in Safari during the weekend.
It’s no longer a secret: Bing Chat will soon no longer be exclusive to Microsoft Edge. The popularity of ChatGPT and all its emulators is such that an exponential use of AI is to be expected. “The Bing AI beta in Safari offers the same experience as what exists in Microsoft Edge. Microsoft will make Bing Chat compatible with Chrome and Safari
Microsoft is also not abandoning the development of the product for its own browser in its Android and iOS versions. The Redmond firm sent questionnaires to its users professionals to get their opinion on the mobile versions of Bing and Edge. The nature of the questions asked suggests that Bing will include a service and application recommendation tool to mobile device users.

Learning how to use so many AI tools and services can be a bit daunting, which is why Microsoft intends to build a community which would allow everyone to train in Artificial Intelligence and its use. Members will be able to learn the inner workings of new features such as “Characters with their personalities in Bing AI”. The latter allows you to ask the chatbot to write a response in the style, language and character of a well-known personsuch as Albert Einstein, for example.
