Will Mirja du Mont soon be living almost 10,000 kilometers from Germany? The model is plagued by wanderlust in a very specific country.
The model Mirja du Mont (45) apparently has no plans to spend the rest of her life in Germany. On the contrary, in the not too distant future, "when my children have finished school and have their Abitur in their pockets," she would like to emigrate, the 45-year-old reveals in an interview with "Bild am Sonntag". And their wanderlust knows a very clear destination: Cape Town in their "heartland" South Africa.
"The idea alone gives me goose bumps," says the ex-wife of actor Sky du Mont (73, "Manitou's Shoe"). "I've been going there for 23 years and when I get off the plane and see Table Mountain, tears run down my head because I'm so happy. The country and I have a very close connection!" Her youngest child is 14 years old – so if Mirja du Mont is really serious about her plan, she might be able to fulfill her dream before she turns 50.
